^{Janet's work is highly refined, wheel-thrown porcelain, decorated with colorful Macro-Crystalline glazes, and is very rich in visual interest.} 

^{For success the entire process is very complicated. The composition of the glaze is very crucial, requiring large amounts of silica, zinc, & titanium, forming crystals of Wellemite. Equally critical are the firing and cooling cycles of the glazed pieces; exact temperatures and timing are of essence. Janet's kiln is fired to 2300 degrees, then cooled slowly to allow the crystals to grow.}

^{Due to the nature of the glaze, no two pieces are exactly alike. All pieces are lead free.}
